Alexz and I had our belated anniversary celebration and then we had kind of a going away party mixed with his birthday party this weekend. It was fun! Now on to some serious focus on moving and packing and all that extra fun stuff.
I'm at work this week and have watched a little more tv than usual, and I find that I don't really miss it. A and I got rid of our tv almost 2 years ago. Any shows that we're really interested in are online. So we're not totally tv free, but we can watch one show when we want and almost totally commercial free. Who else thinks they could be a tv free family?

Party time
We are having a party this weekend. Partly just a summer thing, partly a birthday party for Alexz. Just have to get the house together! Having a party and moving at the same time aren't advisable, btw. Speaking of Alexz, he's found my blog. Not that I was hiding it, I wouldn't have made it my homepage! So, Hi Babe.

It's the Moving Month
Alexz is finished with The Bar, yay!!! Now he's at a loss at what to do with his time. For the past 3 years he's spent most of his time studying for 12 or so hours a day, and suddenly that is all over. Good thing we're moving in a few weeks and he can pack while I'm busy working!!

I'm no longer a virgin
An earthquake virgin that is. We had our first real earthquake experience today. Dang, but I don't want to do that again! The center wasn't far from our house, so it was pretty long and strong. They called it 'moderate'. I don't want to experience anything stronger!
And Alexz wasn't even here to enjoy, er, experience it with me.

Bar Week
Alexz is in Oregon this week and preparing to take the Bar tomorrow and Wednesday. I think he deserves a pat on the back. Not only did he make it through law school AND preparing for the bar, he did it all while married to me. I'm not the easiest of wives on a good day.
Congrats babe. I love you and am proud of you.

Monday Musings
I think this is where I'm going to ramble on about things that strike my fancy over the weekend.
Oh, and I never took the 5 minutes of my life to learn HTML coding so you'll have to deal with the entire links lol
http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/07/27/japan.porn/index.html
I applaud this guy and what he had done for the elderly and the world of porn. Then I watched the video interview and it has snippets of his porn videos. And quite honestly, it gave me the heebie jeebies. To each their own I say. And he's just not for me. Ask me in 40 or 50 years though.
I've been home alone this weekend, for the first time ever since being married I think, and it's quite a different experience. I haven't done as much around here as I should have, but I'll remedy that today and tomorrow. I WILL get the storage unit cleaned out and the bathroom clean and nice smelling again, as well as packed up. I don't really need access to all 20 of my deoderants and smelly lotions and bathwash. I'll just have to deal with one or two of each for the next few weeks!

A Game
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
